In about fifteen minutes you will sign in, find your institution, read the eight domains, run the rule book against your filing, and see what is waiting on a human. Follow it in order — each step is the input to the next.
Before you begin
MDRM IQ is set up by invitation. If you have an invite email, follow it, set a password, and you are in; if your institution already has an account, ask an administrator for one. Nothing needs to be uploaded to start — your institution's public regulatory filings are already loaded.
The rail is the product
Everything lives in the left rail: your own institution at the top, then two chapters, then a short utility list.
- Dashboard — your own bank. What is waiting on you, where to look first, one merged summary you can print, and the way to update the figures the engine reads. Both chapters below it follow the institution it names.
- Intelligence— everyone else: the institution view, groups, comparison, the screener, the M&A workspace and Monitor.
- Exam Readiness — two rows: Prepare, the cockpit that carries posture, the mock examiner, the binder and the procedure index; and the Vault. The engine cockpit, the obligation ledger, the inquiry register and the audit trail all still exist and are all still supported — they are reached from a panel, a tab or a facet rather than from a row of their own.
- Below them — Proctor IQ, this guide, and Settings.
The command palette opens from anywhere with a keyboard shortcut and reaches the same destinations. There is one shell and one navigation: if it is not in the rail, it is not a place you can be.
Step by step
- Sign in. Email and password. If two-factor is enabled on your account you will then be asked for the six-digit code from your authenticator app.
- Confirm your institution. Every surface is bound to one FDIC-insured bank by its certificate number. Your account opens against yours; you can change it in Settings.
- Read the institution view. Open Institution. Scan the eight domain headers for breach counts first — that is the whole picture in eight lines — then open one and read the rows.
- Inspect a number. Select any signal. The inspector gives you the formula, every input with its MDRM code, the FFIEC published figure as an external check, the peer context, the citation, and what the measure cannot see.
- Read your own bank as a position. Your own institution is the same view with the readiness record folded in: the rule the engine ran on each measure, coverage stated per domain, and your recorded posture beside the numbers. Run the engine from the panel at the top if nothing is on record yet.
- See what is waiting on you. Open your Dashboard. It states the next steps from the top of the Work confirm queue — and nothing in the ledger can be closed by clicking, by design.
- Produce something. The examination binder, from Prepare, or the printable summary on the Dashboard. Both are built from the same figures you have been reading.
MDRM IQ is an informational and exam-preparation tool. It shows data, regulatory context and citations. It does not predict examination outcomes, assign ratings, or tell you what to decide. Every figure is computed from a fixed quarter of public filings — the data vintage, stated on every screen — so it matches what an examiner pulling the same call report would see.
Where to go next
You now have the loop: read the position, inspect the math, run the rules, work the queue, produce the document. The next page, Institution, takes the reading surface apart in detail.
